The Highway Patrol says that 30-year-old Blake Payne suffered minor injuries when drove off the road and hit a tree and a MODOT sign. Payne was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on U.S. 160, three miles east of Fairdealinig. Payne was also charged with DWI, leaving the scene of an accident, Careless and imprudent driving, resulting in an accident, no seat belt, and resisting arrest.
