The NBA Draft was held last night in Brooklyn New York and there were no surprises early in the draft. Victor Wembanyama went #1 to San Antonio, the Charlotte Hornets took Brandin Miller second and Portland picked Scoot Henderson third.
Arkansas had three players selected in the draft, with Anthony Black going #6 to Orlando, Nick Smith Jr was picked #27 going to Charlotte in the first round, and Jordan Walsh went to Sacramento at #38 in the second round, but was then traded to Boston.
Ricky Council IV was not selected in the draft but signed a two-way contract with the 76ers after the draft.
Missouri’s Kobe Brown was a first-round selection going to the Los Angeles Clippers at #30
