The Izard County Sheriff’s Department reports that last week , James Owen Statler of Calico Rock was arrested by Sgt. Steve Davidson for driving while intoxicated 3rd offence, fleeing in vehicle and driving while suspended. Statler is incarcerated and bonded on a $30,000 bond. Statler is scheduled to appear in Izard County Circuit Court on January 23.
