The Highway Patrol says that the girl was injured when a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Atasha Starbuck of Houston hit a deer in the roadway. The 13-year-old was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened around 11 last night on Highway 17, three miles north of Bucyrus.
