Several injury accidents were reported locally over the holiday weekend

A Gassville Arkansas woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident west of Doniphan. The Highway Patrol reports that 69-year-old Connie Keller suffered serious injuries when she failed to yield to a pickup driven by 47-year-old Billy Rice of Jonesboro. Keller was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on Highway 142, four miles west of Doniphan.

 

A Mountain Grove man was injured in an accident west of Mountain Grove on Monday. The Highway Patrol reports that 38-year-old Orval Volner suffered serious injuries when drove through a yard, crossed the road, and hit a parked vehicle. Volner was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield and was also charged with DWI and Careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident.  The Accident happened on Country Side Drive, two miles west of Mountain Grove.

 

A woman from Cabool suffered serious injuries in an accident north of Mountain Grove. The Highway Patrol says that 58-year-old Rebecca Shelley was injured when she drove off the road, struck a culvert, and overturned the car she was driving. Shelley was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Route W, ten miles north of Mountain Grove.

 

Three people suffered serious injuries in an accident west of Hartville, Sunday night. The Highway Patrol reports that 66-year-old Clayton Sander and 64-year-old Ladonna Coltrane both of Hartville and 58-year-old Ricky Burris of Falcon were all injured when Burris drove off the road, struck a culvert, and then multiple trees. Coltrane was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, and Burris and Sanders were both taken to Cox South. The accident happened on Highway F, nine miles west of Hartville.

 

A West Plains teen was injured in an accident in Ozark County on Monday. The Highway Patrol reports that the 17-year-old boy suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road and hit several trees. He was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on Highway 101, four miles south of Caulfield.

 

A woman from Ellington and a 4-year-old were injured in an accident Monday night in Reynolds County. The Highway Patrol reports that 23-year-old Breanna Turner suffered serious injuries and the 4-year-old suffered minor injuries when she failed to yield to another vehicle and was hit in the side. The other vehicle’s driver, 32-year-old Gerald Bates of Ellington was not injured. The accident happened on Missouri 21 at Missouri 106. Turner was flown to St Louis University Hospital.
