Authorities now say that the man whose body was found in Lake Cherokee in May was an accidental death. 35-year-old Derek Hughes was found on May 16th and his body was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab. According to reports released from the lab, his blood alcohol level was .297. his death was ruled accidental and the case has been closed.
