A Mountain View Missouri man has been sentenced after entering an Alford plea. Jacob Hearne was charged with second-degree murder in the death of 62-year-old Phyllis Schweinel in April of 2022. The Alford plea means he admits there’s enough evidence against him but does not admit to the crime. Hearne was sentenced to 24 years in prison.
