
The lawsuit comes after allegations surfaced in February that the former employee abused or neglected a student and endangered the child’s welfare. Representatives of Scrivner Law Firm said the case is based on that incident and additional alleged incidents of an employee forcibly grabbing the victim, threatening to strike the child, and forcing food into the student’s mouth at mealtime. The suit has been filed in the Western District of Missouri, Southern Division, with offices in Springfield.
