Authorities in Texas County say that credible information has emerged that 54-year-old James Cruse who was the subject of a manhunt on Friday is no longer in the Cabool area, however, he does have family there and could return. The Sheriff’s Office requests citizens remain vigilant and report any suspicious persons or activity. Law enforcement will still be conducting an active patrol in the area as well. Cruse is wanted for several felony charges. He is a white male, last wearing a white shirt and blue jean shorts, and maybe barefoot. Anyone who sees Cruse should call Law enforcement.
