The Highway Patrol reports that the boy suffered minor injuries when 37-year-old Dustin Jewell of West Plains crossed the centerline and hit the vehicle driven by 30-year-old Alexander Roberts of Cabool. The 3-year-old was a passenger in Roberts’s vehicle. Jewell was charged with DWI, careless and imprudent driving involving a crash, and driving without a license. The 3-year-old was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. The accident happened on Highway H, nine miles northeast of Cabool.
