The Highway Patrol reports that 30-year-old Melvin Campbell suffered serious injuries when he crossed the center line, drove off the road, and hit a fence and a tree. Campbell was flown to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on M Highway, about three and a half miles from Brandsville.
