The Highway Patrol says that a vehicle driven by 47-year-old Martinez Raymundo failed to yield and hit a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Thomas Waldon of Ellsinore. Raymundo suffered serious injuries and was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital. Three passengers in the vehicle driven by Waldon, 37-year-old Alana Carpenter-Epperson and a 14-year-old girl, and a 13-year-old boy all from Ellsinore all suffered minor injuries. The accident happened on U.S. 60, five miles east of Ellsinore.
