The Highway Patrol reports that 55-year-old Tonya Thurman was killed and 41-year-old Charles Greer of Thayer suffered serious injuries and 28-year-old Rebecca Reed of Hardy suffered minor injuries when Reed swerved into the path of the vehicle that Greer was driving. Thurman was a passenger in the Greer vehicle. Greer was flown to Cox South in Springfield and Reed was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon, two miles north of Brandsville on Highway 63.
