Community Bancshares, Inc. of West Plains recently honored Clyde Stewart, Jr. After 26 years, Stewart stepped down as chairman of the board of Community First Banking Company. “It has been my privilege and honor to serve as chairman of the board. We started this bank with $5m in capital and I am so proud of what we have grown to today which is over $260m in assets and 4 locations across south central Missouri,” said Stewart. He will continue to serve on the board as a director.
