Strong storms blew across northern Arkansas and southern Missouri Monday afternoon with several areas suffering power outages and there was a report of some structural damage in Mountain Home. According to reports the roof of the West End Social building was blown off. There were several reports of tree limbs down around both Arkansas and Missouri and in Arkansas power outages were reported by NAEC in Baxter, Fulton, and Izard Counties. Entergy Arkansas reported power outages locally in Baxter Marion, Fulton, and Izard Counties. In Missouri, White River Valley reported power outages in Ozark and Douglas Counties. Howel-Oregon Electric Cooperative reported power outages in the Doram Caulfield, Tecumseh, and Vanzant areas. There were also reports of outages in West Plains and in Thayer.
