On August 27th, 2023; the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received information that Dalton Hall was at a location on Highway 95 at a vacant residence. The MJTF and Wright County SOG located Mary Preece and Mr. Hall and both were arrested. Ms. Preece was reminded of a previous conversation with Sheriff Degase regarding helping Mr. Hall and the consequences of her assisting him.
It was determined that Preece had provided Hall with transportation and a place to stay. Both subjects were transported back to the Douglas County Jail. There were over 200 man-hours to apprehend Hall. There was also a meth pipe, which field tested positive for methamphetamines located in the area where Preece and Hall had been located in.
On August 27th, the Douglas County Circuit Court issued a warrant for Ms. Preece. Charges are as follows:
Hindering Prosecution of Felony (Class E Felony)
Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class D Felony)
The bond is set at $15000 cash with bond conditions: CPS supervision with GPS. GPS at court-approved address. No illegal drugs.
