
Missouri State Football sophomore running back and former West Plains star Connor Lair has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Missouri State head football coach Ryan Beard shared a statement on Tuesday afternoon regarding Lair’s diagnosis.
Lair played 10 games for the Bears as a true freshman where he was an impact player on special teams. He was moved from linebacker to running back for this season where he was expected to have a role in the Bears’ backfield.
He rushed for 20 touchdowns as a senior at West Plains with 90 tackles on defense including 21.5 tackles for a loss and 10.5 sacks. He was named an all-state performer as a junior and senior.
