
The Thayer City Council met last night at City Hall for their regular Monthly Meeting. The council had a short agenda and began by paying bills, They approved October 16th through the 20 as the week for fall clean-up. And they renewed the Conflict of Interest Ordinance. Also during the open session, they heard an update on the feasibility study at the Industrial park from Bob Eckman
The Council also heard an update from Oregon County Presiding Commissioner David Stubblefield about Fuel for the Thayer Airport.
Then the Council heard from a local lady who was asking the council about details on the purchase of the property at the intersection of Highway 63 and 19 . She wanted to know what they paid for it and what the plans were for the property. They told her the property was purchased for $500,000 and that the property was bought for economic development.
