The Highway Patrol reports that 38-year-old Bill Hargis of Horn Lake Mississippi suffered serious injuries when the motorcycle began sliding, ran a stop sign, and overturned. Hargis was taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. The accident happened on Route V at the intersection of Highway 142.
