Jessica Naziri, founder of the blog “Techsesh. co,” advises Arkansans to secure their personal information anytime they are traveling. She says without these protections, you’re increasing the likelihood of scams – which are already happening all too often.
Although most people don’t bother, Naziri says you should read the terms of service on a public Wi-Fi network before agreeing to them. This can help confirm that the network you’re connecting to is legitimate. According to Cybersecurity Ventures, the cost of cybercrime is estimated to hit ten-point-five trillion dollars by 2025.
