A man from Thayer has been arrested for allegedly making threats that resulted in several law enforcement agencies and government offices being put on high alert and the Soft lockdown of Alton School. 42-year-old Joshua Cox was arrested on charges of first-degree terroristic threatening and disturbing the peace. His bond was set at $50,000. A bond review hearing is set for October 18th.
