55-year-old Kamala Dawn Crone entered a negotiated plea of negligent homicide with a vehicle while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated second offense, driving while license was suspended for DWI, refusal to submit to a chemical test, driving left of center, and no seatbelt. Crone was driving a vehicle that collided with another vehicle head-on in June of 2022. 45-year-old Robert Trent Zeigler of Salem was killed in the crash. Crone was sentenced to 15 years in prison with 60 months suspended imposition of sentence.
