45-year-old Joshua Goodchild was accused of killing 31-year-old Nikki Goodchild in March of 2022 at her home in Eunice. Goodchild was charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, first-degree burglary, and unlawful use of a weapon. A motion was filed to commit Goodchild to the Missouri Department of Mental Health to work toward competency so he can stand trial.
