Hunters in Missouri have harvested over 107,000 deer in the first three days of the Firearms Deer season. Locally 2,203 deer were taken in Texas County, 2,117 in Howell County, 1,299 in Douglas County, 1,236 in Ozark County, 1,232 in Ripley County, 1,147 in Shannon County, 1,124 in Wright County, 1,078 in Carter County and 1,070 in Oregon County. Franklin County was the top county in the state with hunters harvesting 2,478 deer. Texas County was second and Howell County was third.
