St. Jude Fundraisers

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 10th—Thayer/Mammoth Spring/West Plains:

The annual St. Jude Radio Thon will be held on beginning at 6:00 a.m. and will continue to 10:00 p.m. on our E-Communications’ stations to include K-Kountry 95, The Gift and The Train.  We will be standing by to take your pledge in helping raise money for the kids at St. Jude.  Finding cures and saving lives.

Some of the fund raisers in progress now:

A Butcher Hog will be raffled off for St. Jude.  The winner of the lucky ticket will be drawn the night of the St. Jude radio-thon.  Get your tickets at Simpson’s True Value in Alton.  Winner will need only to pay for processing fee at Kosh Processing on February 16th or Summersville Processing on March 1st.   Tickets are also available from Billy Johanson and at Crumpies.

Hirsch Feed and Farm Supply:  All proceeds from Hirsch branded apparel will be donated to St Jude.  So, pick up a Hirsch T-shirt or hoodie!

Taylor Grubaugh Chevrolet Buick GMC:  Jan 9th to Feb 9th.  $50 will be donated for every vehicle sold.

Bootleggers BBQ:  For every Red Bone Roll Up sold, $1 goes to St Jude Radio-thon.  Named after our legendary radio host, these delicious treats satisfy your mouth and conscience.  They’ve rolled up and deep fried your favorite grilled cheese and made Marinara to dip them in.

Tri County Medical Supply in Salem, Ar is a big supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the radio-ton.  They have a St. Jude can set up in their store in Salem and ask you to stop by and make a donation to help the kids.

The West Plains Student Council has kicked off its annual St. Jude Fundraiser.  Students are selling Valentine’s Day carnations and suckers to fellow students and teachers, as well as participating in class competitions.

Tinsley Farm Equipment of Koshkonong will donate $100.00 for every tractor sold to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Furniture Depot in Mountain Home will be making a donation to St Jude with any purchase made through Feb 10th.  Shop their Winter Sale and help a great cause.  407 S. Main, just 2 blocks east of the square in Mountain Home.

Sleep Mart in Mountain Home has St Jude pin-ups.  Make any size donation and put your name on the St Jude wall of pin ups.  Hwy 62 in front of Hobby Lobby in Mountain Home.

South Fork Student Council will be offering an Apple Bundle for raffle, valued at over $900. The bundle to include:

  1. New Apple Watch SE (GPS, 40mm)—Space Gray Alum. case with black sport band
  2. Apple iPad (10.2 inch, Wi-Fi + Cellular, 32GB) Latest model, 8th generation
  3. Apple pencil
  4. Apple AirPods with wireless charging case

Apple Bundle provided by Healthy Lifestyles Diagnostics Lab located at 212 East Third Street in West Plains.

Cost is $5 per ticket or 5 tickets for $20.

Thayer Elementary will be offering a “Farm Stock Box” for raffle, courtesy of Newman Farm in Myrtle.  The Farm Box is valued at $450 and will include 10-12lbs of meat as a 3 month subscription that will be delivered to your front door, including free shipping.  Ticket sales will begin on Wednesday, January 27th and the deadline is 8:30am on Wednesday, February 10th . Cost is $5 per ticket or 6 tickets for $20.

Country Cottage in Thayer will donate $1.00 to the St. Jude Radio Thon for every meal purchased on Feb 10, 2021.

Piney Creek Farm and Auto in Alton has put together 2 prize packages they will be offering by raffle as a fundraiser for the St. Jude Radio Thon.

Package #1 is a kids toy bundle that includes a truck, farm animals, a corral set, books and more, valued at over $100.

Package #2 includes various items such as fuel mix for chainsaw, a 75 pc drill bit set, car cleaning products, a 3 and a half ton floor jack, a power pack, and much more with a value of over $500.

Tickets are available for purchase at the store at $2 each or 6 tickets for $10  with 100% of the ticket sales going to the St. Jude radio thon and for anyone who wishes to make a direct donation to St. Jude, they will accept those as well.

 

Daniel Bowers will once again be offering a handmade solid wood bookcase by raffle this year.  It is constructed with quarter sawn oak and adjustable shelving and as always, a work of art.  Tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5 and can be purchased at the following locations:
