A Woman from Evening Shade has been arrested after she was accused of giving an infant Benedryl to make him sleep. The Baby’s Father called the child abuse hotline, reporting that he say her mix Benedryl in the baby’s bottles for about four weeks. 30 year old Leanne Bain was arrested after an investigation by the Department of Human services. A Blood sample was taken from the baby showing the presence of the drug. Bain is charged with a class D felony 1st degree endangering the welfare of a minor.
