A man accused of fighting with police in Baxter County has pled guilty in Baxter County Court. 42 Chad Merriman was accused of numerous crimes, including battery of a police officer, violation of a protective order and resisting arrest. He pled guilty to amended charges and was given five years probation. Most of the charges against him were reduced to misdemeanor charges, except for one count of possession of drug paraphernalia
