A Mountain View Missouri man is headed to prison after entering a plea agreement. 29 year old James Lindsey was sentenced to 18 years in prison after entering the plea agreement on statutory sodomy charges. He was charged with 3 counts of statutory sodomy and pled guilty to one count of first degree statutory sodomy with a person less than 12 years old. According to probable cause statements, Lindsey allegedly had sexual intercourse with a girl less than 12 years old between November 5, 2016, and December 28, 2016, while he and his girlfriend were babysitting several children in Lindsey’s apartment. Lindsey was reportedly named as a suspect in several Division of Family Services reports of child molestation with five victims ranging in age from one to nine, most of them under the age of five, according to court documents. According to the reports, Lindsey had been sexually assaulting children for six years prior to these most recent charges, with most of the victims being under the age of five. Police say that when accusations against him would pop up, Lindsey would simply move from the region.
