A rural Mountain Home man who went to the Baxter County Detention Center to serve a weekend sentence now faces more charges. Sheriff John Montgomery reports that 52 year old Thomas Bruce Wheeler arrived for booking and a jailer found a glass vial in his pocket. The Substance tested positive for meth. Wheeler is now charged with felony possession of controlled substance meth and felony furnishing prohibited articles. His bond was set at $5,000 but he was placed on a hold by the District Court Probation Office for probation violation.
