A woman from Thayer was injured in a two vehicle accident on I-44 in Jasper County. The Highway patrol says that 52 year old Evelyne Franke suffered minor injuries when her vehicle was forced off the road by another vehicle, she returned to the road, hit the vehicle and then hit a guardrail. Franke suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mercy hospital. The accident happened around 8:15 last night on I-44 at Fidelity.
