A Mountain Home Roofing Contractor accused of taking money from customers and not doing the work he had promised was sentenced Thursday. 31-year-old john Downing was given 6 years’ probation and he paid $8,700 in restitution. He was facing charges in three criminal cases. Downing pleaded guilty in February and has been paying the money back since then.
