A man from West Plains was injured in an accident north of West Plains Thursday afternoon. The Highway Patrol reports that 37-year-old Anthony Ricks suffered minor injuries when the van he was driving hit a car driven by 60-year-old Elena Thorson of Pomona. Ricks was taken to OMC. The accident happened on highway 63 about a half mile north of West Plains.
