Missouri Governor Mike Parson announces that all state unemployment assistance is related to COVID-19.

Governor Parson says this is all to make sure Missourians can get back to work as more and more businesses have signs asking for employees.

A union representing Missouri employees is pushing back against the governor.

In a letter sent to the Parson, the union asks for paid time off to get vaccinated, additional PPE and the state set up a process that would have child care available to those who can’t afford it.
