Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson says he wants to start a series of discussions about COVID-19 in an attempt to get more Arkansans vaccinated.

He said the goal would be to go to the community level and ask what citizens fear about the vaccine.

The Governor starts his visits on Thursday in Cabot.

Arkansas is seeing its largest jump in hospitalizations since January, now at 55.

Since Monday, the state has recorded 270 new cases of COVID-19, but Hutchinson says that number may be under-counted due to the July 4 holiday.
