The Governor also announced a new incentive program in Missouri for anyone that receives the COVID-19 vaccine rate:
At the press conference, Governor Parson also announced a new director of the state’s Health
and Senior Services Department:
Kauerauf has spent his last 30 years in public health, so he is no stranger to the office.
He served as assistant director of the Illinois Department of Public Health in 2016-2018.
Later, he served as chair of the Illinois Terrorism Task Force throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
