The Missouri State Highway Patrol is reporting a crash that occurred on private property in Douglas County that caused a fatality.
According to crash reports, 78-year-old Joseph Hamby drove a 2007 GMC Sierra when the vehicle went off the roadway and went into a creekbed.
Hamby was pronounced dead by a Douglas County Deputy.
