Missouri State Highway Patrol reports drug bust, two others arrested on Tuesday

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the arrest of a Raymondville, MO man from Tuesday. 

According to MSHP, 36-year-old Christopher Ewing was arrested for felony driving while intoxicated – persistent offender, felony resisting arrest, driving while revoked/suspended – first offense, and operating a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner. 

Ewing was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was placed on a 24-hour hold. 

 

An arrest in Shannon County put a Winona, MO man behind bars on Tuesday. 

According to the Highway Patrol, 54-year-old William Hoffman is facing charges for a felony Shannon County warrant for amphetamine, failure to affix a motor vehicle plate, and no insurance. 

Hoffman was taken to the Shannon County Jail and is being held on bond. 

 

Finally, an arrest in Howell County by Troop G led to a major drug bust.

According to arrest records, 41-year-old Richard Ponder of Hollister, MO was arrest for felony possession of controlled substance except for 35 grams or less marijuana and felony distribution of a controlled substance, misdemeanor patrol charges for unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a prohibited weapon, felony probation and parole warrant for parole violation, misdemeanor Taney County warrant for failure to appear.
