Driver arrested, 12-year-old juvenile injured in Oregon County crash

OREGON COUNTY, MO (ECNN) – A 12-year-old juvenile was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday. 

According to crash reports, a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by 26-year-old Kimberlie Abbott of Alton was traveling northbound on Route AA at County Road 135 when the vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and pulled in front of a 2004 Ford Explorer. 

After the crash, a 12-year-old male juvenile had minor injuries and was taken by private conveyance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. 

Arrest records show that Abbott was arrested for a felony warrant for dangerous drugs in Oregon County. 

She was taken to the Howell County Jail and was placed on bond.

The crash occurred around 5:00 on Tuesday evening.
