The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the arrest of a man after a crash in Wright County.
According to crash reports, a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by 34-year-old Joshua Cornelius of Mansfield, MO was traveling northbound on Old Highway 5, one mile south of Mansfield, when the vehicle ran off the side of the roadway, then skidded off the left side, striking a tree, then a fence.
Cornelius was seriously injured in the crash and was transported by Lifeline Helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Cornelius will face charges for driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving, and having no seatbelt.
