According to the Howell County Sheriff’s Department Jesse Morgan was arrested and has been charged with Domestic Assault 1st Degree, Kidnapping 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Armed Criminal Action, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Property Damage 1st Degree. On Tuesday the Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to a residence on county road 9370 to investigate a motor vehicle accident and an assault. When deputies arrived the instigating suspect fled the scene before law enforcement’s arrival, having assaulted one female, firing a weapon at another, and kidnapping another. Less than an hour later authorities were notified of a trespassing incident on Kody Drive in West Plains. The kidnapped female and suspect were located there and Morgan was arrested. Morgan is being held in the Howell County Jail on a $100,000.00 bond.
