The Highway Patrol reports that 51-year-old Melisa Myers of Theodosia suffered serious injuries and a 16-year-old boy from Gainesville suffered minor injuries when the juvenile failed to yield and hit the vehicle that Myers was driving in the side. Myers and the juvenile were both taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on Missouri 5, five miles south of Wasola.
