Thursday, officials with Silver Dollar City announced that their steam train will remain closed after another incident. According to reports, the front wheels of one of the cars went off the tracks, causing two of the cars to separate. All the cars remained upright and the train stopped. One passenger reportedly had minor injuries. The train derailed in October of 2022, injuring six people.
