The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department reports three arrests in separate cases.

53-year-old Lloyd Yost of Ava was arrested after deputies found 6.58 grams of meth in Yost’s coat pocket. Yost was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, operating a motorcycle when driver’s license is not valid, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and he had existing charges for failure to appear. His bond was set at $5,000

34-year-old Joshua Lingo of Seymour was arrested on Monday. Lingo had been in several pursuits by law enforcement. He was arrested on a Douglas County Warrant for stealing a portable sawmill. Lingo has an active warrant in Douglas County for stealing $750 or more.  The bond is set at $10,000

37-year-old Steven Adams of Ava was arrested earlier this month in Douglas County. Adams is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful use of a weapon while intoxicated. The bond was set at $5,000
