The Arkansas Attorney General warns residents of bank scams

Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin is warning residents about scammers impersonating bank officials.

Scammers reportedly place calls trying to get personal information like account numbers and the answers to security questions using high pressure tactics. Griffin said this type of scam has caused Americans to lose close to $2 billion in the year 2023.

Anyone who wishes to report a scam to the Attorney General can do so by visiting arkansasag.gov.
