A Summersville woman is sent to the hospital after hitting a deer while driving.
Around 6:30 Friday morning, 24-year-old Lanie Kirkman was travelling southbound on Highway 17 when he 2012 Toyota Prius slammed into the animal- there’s no word on it’s condition but the vehicle was totalled. Kirkman was wearing her seat belt and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Mountain View for minor injuries.
