U.S. Highway 62/412 and Arkansas Highway 178 outside of Flippin has been reopened for traffic.
The road was closed in the early morning hours due to a fuel tanker truck loaded with gasoline over turned and reportedly leaked fuel across the highway. ECNN reached out several times to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office but it was all hands on deck as virtually everybody in the department worked the accident, and they weren’t available- by all accounts Marion County Sheriff’s Department did an excellent and efficient job of getting the roads open.
