As the hot summer arrives, the Missouri Department of Public Safety Emergency Management wants to remind you of the dangers of extreme heat and humidity. If you spend time outdoors, make sure that you take proper precautions, not the least of which is staying hydrated. To help prepare for the oncoming summer heat, the state will observe Wednesday, June the 12th as Summer Safety Day.
