A man has been arrested on multiple felony charges following a Douglas County Grand Jury indictment involving alleged sexual offenses against a minor. According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Johnathan Zimmerman was arrested on December 9, 2025, on charges of Child Molestation in the Second Degree, Sexual Contact with a Student, and offenses involving a child under the age of 17. Authorities said Zimmerman was employed at Ozarks Trails Academy Youth Home in eastern Douglas County, a facility that houses troubled teens, at the time of the alleged offenses. Sheriff Degase recognized Detective Long for his investigative work in the case and also thanked agents with the Operation Relentless Pursuit Fugitive Task Force for their assistance in locating and apprehending Zimmerman in Howell County.
