A man wanted in Douglas County was arrested last week in Texarkana, Arkansas. Ross Rains was wanted on a Douglas County warrant for probation violation for possession of a controlled substance, meth. Ross pleaded guilty in July of 2022 to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 6 years in DOC with a Suspended Execution of Sentence. On November 14, 2024, a warrant was issued for violating the terms of probation. Ross was extradited back to Missouri and is currently being held without bond.
