On Monday the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant on a residence, near the Ava High School, resulting in two subjects being taken into custody, one as a result of an active Probation warrant. Richard Beckwith and Shaunde Beckwith of Ava have been charged with Distrubution of a Controlled Substance in a Protected Location Felony A, Possession of a Controlled Substance X 2 Felony D. A no bond for both has been set.
